Un luth, un héros - Carte blanche à Hopkinson Smith

Pionnier de la musique ancienne et légende vivante du luth, Hopkinson Smith présente avec le raffinement qui le caractérise une sélection d’œuvres enchanteresses écrites pour le luth Renaissance autour de 1600.

Là où les compositeurs élisabéthains comme John Dowland et Anthony Holborne privilégient la mélancolie et la danse, le contrepoint italien des toccatas de Girolamo Kapsberger illumine par son inventivité et sa modernité avant-gardiste. Une soirée qui s’annonce exceptionnelle !
